Stunning photos! I have been to California (San Fran) once a few years ago but I so long to go back! If there is anywhere other than England I think I could live it would be San Francisco. It’s just such a great city.

San Fran does seem like it would be England-like. Not that I’ve ever been to England, but from what I’ve heard of its weather vs. San Fran’s, they seem similar.

If you ever get the chance when you’re in San Fran, you should totally check out Alcatraz! It’s sooo fascinating. Myself and both of my parents really enjoyed it.

Aw, thank you for the kind words and for stopping in!

We drove from LA to SF. Beautiful drive, I highly recommend it. Although I was a bit terrified of the cliffs (I have a bit of an irrational fear of the scary ocean below) but barring that, it was well worth the extra travel time to drive the coast. :)
I didn’t make the booking on our rental house, so I’ll have to ask and will get back to you on that one. We found it from a family friend who’d stayed there. LOVED the house. I’d move in ;) It was a fantastic neighbourhood too… mere blocks from downtown Hollywood (if that’s what it’s called? I’m sure any local reading this would laugh at my poor attempt at LA geography.)
Anyhow, I will certainly ask about the rental and get back to you! :) We were really impressed with it.
Hope you have an amazing trip out there in the fall!
